Overview

Las Colinas is an affluent and upscale area in the Dallas suburb of Irving.  A perfectly relaxing staycation was just what we needed during our weekend getaway to the expansive and beautiful Four Seasons resort in Dallas! From fine Texas dining to drinks by the pool to charming villas with outdoor fire pits, I am very excited to share an overview of some of the best features of this luxury resort and what it’s like staying here!

Accommodation

From arrival to check in, we were well taken care of! The service and attention to detail is what really heightened our experience here!  We stayed in the spacious and comfortable Villa room featuring a patio with views of the fabulous golf course and pond, it was absolutely peaceful and a great escape from the hustle and bustle of the city!  The beds here are some of the most comfy I have ever slept on and the marble bathrooms provide a very luxurious feel! To top it off, we were welcomed with personalized amenities featuring delicious sweet treats and champagne!

Law Restaurant

This is their signature restaurant and known for their bold Texas fare! Our first night here, we had a delicious steak dinner and a variety of unique appetizers ranging from savory duck taquitos to fresh seared tuna! There is also a stylish bar with a lounge area, I recommend the spicy jalapeno margarita if you can handle it! The atmosphere goes from casual during the day with large windows offering plenty of sunshine in a lush setting to a more intimate candlelit evening setting!

In Room Dining

Our first morning here we decided to order in room service and enjoy a breakfast with a view right from our balcony, it was just too perfect to leave our room! We used the very handy Four Seasons app to place our order, there is always someone available to assist via chat-like having your own butler!

Outlaw Taproom

After dinner drinks by this warm fireplace overlooking the pool was the best way to end the day! You can even grab some snacks and enjoy the live music scene with twinkling lights, it was really very romantic!

Pools

On a hot summer day, there is nothing better than refreshing cocktails and delicious bites by the pool at the Agave Pool & Bar. This is the main massive wrap around pool and we absolutely loved having our own day bed inside our private Cabana, be sure to book these early as you can probably imagine they are in high demand!

After an afternoon swim in the pool, we opted to wind down the day before dinner at the Jacuzzi pool perfectly nestled amongst trees and decorated with large rocks, this felt very secluded being surrounded by nature!

SPA

No staycation is complete without a trip to the Spa! On our last day we decided to get pampered with a relaxing Blues Be Gone massage, it was just what my sore muscles needed after all the swimming! After the treatment, there is plenty to do at the SPA as you unwind with a glass of champagne in hand! My favorite was definitely the whirlpool with glass ceiling where you could see the tall trees leaning in, it was so rejuvenating as the jets melted all the stress away!

Golf

World class golf course featuring an 18-hole par 70 championship course with spectacular views of nature, this is where the pros come to play!

Summary

Four Seasons always exceeds our expectations and we are so lucky to have one right here in our hometown of Dallas! This is such a relaxing and peaceful place, we can definitely see ourselves returning whenever we need another little getaway from everyday life! We felt so safe here with all the COVID protocols in place, the staff really go above and beyond to ensure they meet the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort!
