Overview

Located in the desert meets ocean landscape that is the southernmost tip of the Baja Peninsula, is the ultra-luxe Nobu Hotel combining Japanese design with Mexican hospitality! A scenic 45 minute journey through the city brings you to this secluded and peaceful destination that is bound to leave unforgettable memories. We had the pleasure of experiencing 3 nights and 4 days in this tropical paradise and it was just what we needed to relax and unwind from our busy lifestyle back at home. Whether you are looking to celebrate a special occasion or just need a quick getaway, the views of the mesmerizing turquoise sea and amazing fine dining options are sure to please even the most distinguished guests!

Accommodation

Luxurious rooms and suites with views of the ocean, pool, and expansive property grounds! We stayed in the spacious and glamourous swim up pool suite where we had direct access to the pool upon opening our sliding glass doors to the terrace. We were never more than a few steps away from taking a refreshing dip in the pool and it was absolutely convenient coming back into the room for a quick bite or a nap! My favorite part of this room has got to be the beautifully decorated bathroom with a large soaking tub and stone accent walls, it felt like we were in a spa! We looked forward to returning to our room at the end of each day and feeling truly pampered with the soft sheets and perfectly curated décor providing a sense of elegance and serenity.

Dining

Where do I begin to describe our variety of delicious culinary dining experiences here from the world famous Nobu Restaurant featuring authentic Japanese cuisine to the Malibu Farm Restaurant bringing locally sourced and organic farm to table cuisine! Did you know they even have their own culinary garden? This is definitely worth walking around, you will see just why and how the food here is always so fresh and tasty! Our favorite restaurant that we kept returning to almost every night was their latest addition, the Ardea Steakhouse. The atmosphere is lively and the menu boasts plenty of hand crafted cocktails perfectly paired with unique pastas and pizzas, like our favorite fillet mignon & potato pizza baked in a mushroom truffle sauce!  

Pools:

Immersed in one of the four beautiful pools is how much of our vacation was spent! The best part has got to be the poolside fully equipped cabanas with a private bathroom and living room featuring a TV and comfortable seating area! These need to be booked in advance, you can probably imagine they are very popular especially during sunset! Each pool has its own unique design and style, from an adults only pool area with a swim up bar and absolutely amazing Jacuzzi to a lush tropical party vibe pool with live music and nonstop poolside service!  There is really something for everyone to satisfy the desire to swim in a beautiful paradise setting! Sunsets by the main infinity pool here are not to be missed, the colors are absolutely mesmerizing making this a peaceful and relaxing spot to wind down the day with that special someone!

Experiences:

The unique experiences offered really took our stay above and beyond and provided an insight into what sets this resort apart from the hundreds of others in Cabo! We had the pleasure of indulging in a Tequila tasting paired with delicious appetizers perfectly curated to match each of our drinks! What made this experience even better was the warm and friendly host who explained the history of Tequila and how to pick and choose the best Tequila that compliments different dishes, needless to say it was absolutely delicious and left us feeling wonderful!

Summary:

From beachside evening bonfires to laying on a hammock to tranquil spa experiences, there is truly something for everyone! You may want to have your camera close to you, because every part of this property is beautifully designed and maintained, there are plenty of photo opportunities at every corner! We would wake up early to take a walk around the resort and take photos, this was definitely the most peaceful part of the day where it felt like the world hadn’t woken up yet, and it was perfect! Each guest is assigned a personal butler who is available to assist with every need, from making a dinner reservation to planning out your day’s activities!
